What is your favorite thing about your salon suite so far?
I love the freedom of customization to make my suite feel like home. I can make it my own, turn my dreams to a reality, most importantly it’s suitable and comfortable for my clients.
What is the best thing about being an independent beauty professional?
The best thing about being an independent beauty professional is that I can manage my business the way I desire and connect with my clients on a level that not only make them part of the #ICUCrew, but friends and family. Being able to give my clients an experience that prioritizes their needs and desires is what I aim for. To bring confidence and care to women|men in need gives me a joy and purpose to continuously aim and show for nothing but the best.
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about transitioning to a salon suite from a traditional salon?
My advice is to not settle for less, take your time until you find the space that best suits you and your needs. Also, put yourself in a clients position and look for those desires in a salon suite as well. Keep in mind, when beginning in the beauty industry, it is okay to be in a traditional salon. You will learn remarkable techniques, proper customer service, the do’s and don’ts of how to run a business, and eventually develop a plan for how you would want your business to exceed properly. Never move fast paced, remember slow and steady wins the race!

If you are looking for high end luxury, peacefulness, cleanliness, proper management, etc., this is the place to be. I love how management is always on standby and responds in a timely fashion. The location, foot traffic, promotion, amenities, etc. makes my experience so much better as a first time business owner and it is no stress on me to grow, expand, and succeed in this industry.
